Analysis - Employee Finder

Click on People Central in the left navigation and then 'Analysis' on the far right hand side to locate the Employee Finder button.

This is a tool you can use to search your existing database of positions, employees and competencies if you are looking for a specific combination/s of skills.

To begin, click on the 'Modify' button to begin entering in your filters:-
Positions
If you are looking for employee's who hold certain competencies based on a position or positions, click on the 'Positions' tab and you can either enter the name of the position and click on the 'Search' button or simply click on the 'Search' button to include all.

The list of competencies aligned with that position will appear where you can then 'Add' then as part of the filter criteria.

You can repeat that process and click on another position if you want to also include competencies from that one

Employees
If you are looking for employee's who hold competencies based on another employee or employees, click on the 'Employees' tab and you can either enter the name of the employee and click on the 'Search' button or simply click on the 'Search' button to include all.

The list of competencies aligned with that employee will appear where you can then 'Add' then as part of the filter criteria.

You can repeat that process and click on another employee if you want to also include competencies from that one.

Competencies
If you are looking for employee's who hold a specific competency/ies, click on the 'Competencies' tab and you can either enter the name of the competency and click on the 'Search' button or simply click on the 'Search' button to include all.

The list of competencies will appear where you can then 'Add' then as part of the filter criteria.


Once you have chosen all your filters and criteria, click on the 'Return Selected Competencies' and then on the 'Find Employees. button where the results will appear in the 'Employees with selected competencies' column.
